We are looking for housekeepers to join our existing team. You would play a key role in making sure all areas of the hospital, including wards and all other areas, are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.

We currently have a range of exciting opportunities working in different areas across the hospital with a selection of part-time shift patterns available. These include mornings, afternoon, evening and night shifts as outline below:
POST 1 22.5 hours a week 7.00am - 3.30pm

Week 2.... Wednesday Thursday Friday
Post 2......22.5 hours a week 7.00am - 3.30pm

Main duties of the job
- Using a variety of modern and advanced cleaning equipment to make sure our wards and other patient areas are cleaned to the highest possible standards.
- Full range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping and hydrogen peroxide vapour. All equipment used has been tested and chosen by existing housekeeping teams.
- Some roles may require the use of specialist personal protective equipment.
- Preparation and serving of patient meals and refreshments as part of a team.
- Following ward or department cleaning schedules.
- Diluting cleaning chemicals and following set procedures being mindful of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- Workload is flexible and locations can change per shift including between wards and non-ward areas.
