Job summary
The Outpatient Clinical Business Unit is implementing a new administrative role to ensure it can most effectively support the Trust in maximising and co-ordination the utilisation of Outpatient clinics.
We are looking for two enthusiastic, highly skilled and forward-thinking Clinic Schedulers to join the Outpatient Clinic Change team. The successful applicant needs to be someone who possesses highly developed organisational, communication and IT skills, experience of organising complex activities or programmes, and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. Knowledge of hospital systems and patient pathways is essential, and knowledge of clinic scheduling will be an advantage although not essential.

The Trust has sites in Lincoln, Boston, Grantham. One post holder will be based at the Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and one at Lincoln County Hospital
The start date for this post will be after 1st April 2024
Main duties of the job
The post holder will need to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues within Outpatients and Specialty Clinical Business Units, both clinical and non-clinical, regarding the use of Outpatient clinic sessions.
They will update and maintain a diary for clinic room booking and communicate with colleagues at all levels to ensure maximum utilisation.
The successful candidate will be educated or working towards a Degree level qualification, or equivalent experience.
