Discharge Lounge Pilgrim Hospital is a 10 bedded unit with 6 chairs in an ambulatory space.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals, who must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team and can work in a busy environment.
You must be able to work alone, and use your initiative. Show excellent patient care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will work within an established team as well as other multidisciplinary teams members. You will be expected to carry out essential patient care under the direction of qualified nursing team.
Duties will include - collecting patients from all areas of the hospital. Personal care, and ensuing patients stay hydrated and fed. Being able to complete and input observations.
You will also be given full opportunity to complete extended roles, such as ECGs, venepuncture and cannulation.
