Applications are invited for the post of Homecare and Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacy technician to join the well established homecare team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT).

Main duties of the job

As a homecare and medicines management pharmacy technician you will be involved in managing homecare patients and will be working as part of an established pharmacy homecare team at the Trust. You will also spend time based on the hospital wards as part of a ward based team providing medicines management services for patients.

The role requires pharmacy technician registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Training and support will be given to the successful candidate as well as the opportunity to undertake an accredited checking technician qualification if required.

  • BTEC or NVQ level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or recognised equivalent.
  • Evidence of, or willingness to undergo training in, pharmacy related aspects of medicines homecare.

  • Existing management and organisational skills

  • Clear understanding of the role of the technician in medicines homecare.
