An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Health care Support Worker to join our friendly and energetic team on Navenby ward. We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and a self-motivated health professional to join our well established team.

Navenby ward is a 23 bedded ward with a speciality in endocrine/diabetes.

As part of the position we offer a comprehensive induction program and a structured training and development plan. You will receive first class support and direction from the ward sister and the nursing team. We will actively encourage the successful applicants to continue with their own professional and personal development.

The successful candidates will need to work as an active member of the team and at all times deliver high standards of patient care, while maintaining a positive experience for the patients.

Main duties of the job

The healthcare team is supported by a team of healthcare support workers, Band 5 nurses, band 6 deputy sisters, a clinical educator, and housekeepers as well as the ward manager.

Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area. It provides a number of services, including an outpatient department, diagnostic and surgical procedures, as well as a surgical ward.
