1 x 12 hour post, 5-9pm, Wednesday to Friday
This post is based at Pilgrim Hospital and flexibility is required to cover absent colleagues.
To ensure continuity of the Health Records Service there is a requirement to cover at least 1 Bank Holiday shift per year.
Interviews will be held on Friday 15th September via Teams and there will be an Excel and In-tray test.
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit Health Records clerks to join our administrative teams. Working within our busy environment you will carry out Health Records duties as part of the Choice & Access team, assisting in the daily provision of a professional health records service ensuring patients, relatives and visitors receive the best possible service.
The role will involve the filing, locating, retrieval and preparation of patient casenotes, to ensure that national waiting times are adhered to. Advising patients, staff and relatives by telephone and dealing with their enquires is also a key part of this role.

- Computer Literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
