The post holder will work closely with Executive Director and their Deputies by providing business and strategic management support on a daily basis to enable the Director to meet the demands placed on them.
The post-holder will have exposure at a senior level across all areas of the Trust, having insight into the strategic workings of the organisation and will be required to work across the organisation, influencing staff at all levels to work towards objectives when there is no direct control or reporting line.

Main duties of the job
Proactively deal with complex issues, leading on and coordinating projects with strict deadlines and ever-changing priorities.
Provide business and strategic administrative management support to the Director and Deputy Director.
Provide appropriate, relevant and timely advice, guidance and information to the divisions on behalf of the Director and Deputy Director.
Ensure appropriate governance is in place for corporate activities e.g. risk registers and audit recommendations ensuring actions are monitored and chased and registers and logs are kept up to date ready to be submitted to appropriate boards and committees.
Co-ordinate reports and documents for submission to Board Committees and Directorate Groups
Receive, analyse and communicate a wide range of highly complex and often sensitive and contentious information in order to propose recommendations to the Director and Deputy Director to enable strategic decision making.

- Level 6 standard of education (e.g. undergraduate degree) or equivalent experience
- Business Administration qualifications or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Prince 2 practitioner or equivalent qualification in project or programme management
- Level 2 Certified English and Maths (GCSE/Functional Skills) as this is a requirement for many learning programmes/professional development pathways
Previous Experience

- Previous experience of providing senior level administrative support at a senior level
- Knowledge/experience of project management inside or outside of the NHS
- Experience presenting information, reports and presentations to senior managers, including Executive level
- Experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting information to consult, negotiate, make decisions, develop solutions and solve complex problems
- Experience of developing and implementing systems, processes, standard operating procedures, policies and guidance on application of policy
