Job summary

To support patients whilst having prostate biopsies taken, and support the nurse to document what biopsies where taken and where from.

Main duties of the job

To document where biopsies have been taken from and how many, to support the patient during this procedure. Make drinks as required for the patient, undertake blood pressure readings if needed.

To help clean the room & equipment after the clinic.

Help other members of staff if needed.

Essential

  • GCSE English Language Grade E or above or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths Grade E or above or equivalent

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health related area or willing to work towards
  • ECDL qualification or equivalent

Experiecne

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • Experience of using computer systems for data entry and retrieval

Desirable

  • Experience in Health Care setting
