The PAN Trust service covers Lincoln County hospital, Grantham District Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital Boston. This post will lead the Inpatient Dietetic Team at Lincoln County Hospital & the PAN Trust services based there with the support of the Trust Lead Dietitian.

Main duties of the job

  • Responsible for operational management and clinical leadership of the Site Dietetic service, including management of a delegated budget, recruitment, retention and deployment of staff, absence management, managing complaints, procurement and managing resources.
  • Accountable for effective, efficient, high quality service performance
  • Ensure effective communication between partners with ULH and the wider healthcare community
  • Represent the Dietetic Service at a local level, and as required at a Trust-wide level
  • Ensure staff and department comply with relevant Trust policies and guidelines
  • Maintain a clinical caseload, with clinical activity accounting for between 20-30% of working hours
  • You will be required to travel between sites e.g. car driver

  • Evidence of Masters level study (e.g. masters level module)

Desirable

  • Attendance at relevant postgraduate courses e.g. Motivational interviewing, behavioural change
  • Membership of BDA Specialist Interest Group or Regional group around specialist area
  • Specialist interest in Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN)
  • Specialist interested in Paediatrics
