The post holder will work across all hospitals within the Humber Health Partnership, covering both North and South Bank sites, to ensure equitable and consistent delivery of the ERCP/SpyGlass service.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing a caseload of patients -- primarily those requiring Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) or SpyGlass procedures. You will coordinate and deliver holistic, patient-centred care to meet the needs of individuals referred to the ERCP/SpyGlass service through both medical and surgical pathways. Acting as a patient advocate, you will provide support and guidance throughout all stages of the procedure process. The role will serve as an interface between medical and nursing disciplines, fostering collaboration and supporting the ongoing development of nursing practice. You will deliver advanced clinical care within the Endoscopy specialism through nurse-led clinics and independent nurse prescribing, promoting timely interventions and seamless transitions between services and hospital Trusts. This post will require the applicant to cover all hospitals on North and South bank.
