Job summary
Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are recruiting Apprentice Health Care Support Workers to various posts within our organisation. We are looking for Highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us on a full-time basis, working clinically whilst completing their apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship role provides the springboard for the successful candidate to be part of our Trust, and to share our values as they build a career in nursing. Candidates will develop the core health and caring skills required in the NHS today, including completion of the Care Certificate.
There is an opportunity to join either a level 2 or level 3 Apprenticeship dependent on current/predicted results and essential requirements outlined in the person specification.
Please note that, in line with UKVI regulations, this vacancy does not meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa route. As a result, we are unable to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this position.

Main duties of the job
You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, have a flexible approach to working and a desire to develop within the NHS.
We expect applicants to be motivated, honest and reliable. In return you can expect an excellent level of support to achieve a recognised qualification as a Health Care Support Worker.
This is a career development role where the Trust aims to inspire and develop our future workforce. Upon completion of the programme the Trust would encourage successful candidates to apply for a further, higher apprenticeship/study opportunity (pending availability) such as the Student Nursing Associate Apprenticeship (foundation degree) or Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship.
