Main duties of the job
About the Role
As a Radiotherapy Nurse Specialist, you will:
- Provide specialist nursing care and advice to patients undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
- Support patients from pre-treatment CT planning through to treatment completion.
- Educate patients and carers on managing side effects and maintaining wellbeing.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
What We're Looking For - Registered Nurse (NMC) with oncology, haematology, or palliative care experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to professional development and service improvement.
