Job summary
Applications are invited to join Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Portering Services based at Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and flexible Portering Supervisor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited to the special needs of a busy hospital environment. The portering supervisor is to lead their team in supporting the delivery of safe and timely portering services to our Hospitals and our patients. Applicants must be able to undertake shifts including weekends and nights working at either of our hospital sites and be able to meet the physical demands of the post.

Main duties of the job
The Portering department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of services including: Patient movement, mortuary activity, transportation of equipment, medical products and medical records. The handling of medical gases and postal room duties. Tasks will involve driving Trust vehicles.
A Clean, valid UK driving licence is essential criteria for all applicants.
