Job summary
Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking a band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join our highly skilled therapy team specialising in the treatment of respiratory patients within inpatient services and the community, supporting a 7 day service.
We require a self-motivated, dynamic clinician who is stimulated by challenge and are looking for the opportunity to improve their skills at a senior level. It is expected that you will have had experience working in respiratory rotations.
Support will be provided to enhance both your respiratory skills and operational management skills. Contributions to service planning, development and teaching both therapists and students is an expectation of the role. As a Senior Physiotherapist, the post holder will be a role model for their team, pride themselves on delivering high quality care and motivate their team to do the same.
The respiratory therapy service is a forward thinking service committed to evidence based practice and continuous professional development.
We are seeking skilled people who have proven NHS/UK experience, who can adapt to a changing environment and work well in a team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be self motivated and aspirational, be able to assess patients in an effective and timely manner in a rapid paced environment. Pathways will support early recognition of deterioration with appropriate escalation processes in place to maintain patient safety.
The post holder will contribute to 7 day services and contribute to the Respiratory On-call Service.
