Paediatric Registered Nurse (Part Time)
OPHTHALMOLOGY OUTPATIENT DEPARTMENT HRI
The award winning Ophthalmology Outpatient Department HRI has vacancies for dynamic and highly motivated Paediatric Registered Nurses to join our progressive and friendly multi-disciplinary team. We are dedicated to providing a high standard of patient focused care using up to date technology in a well-equipped purpose built modern facility.
Main duties of the job
We actively support professional development and successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain specialist ophthalmic knowledge and skills to deliver patient care to adults and children with a diverse range of chronic and acute eye conditions. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to expand their scope of professional practice and participate in a variety of interesting nurse-led clinics.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to the delivery of high quality patient focused care, and be able to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team in order to promote service needs. Evidence of clinical and professional development, participation in evidence-based practice and an ability to work under own initiative is required. Excellent communication skills are essential.
Previous ophthalmic or outpatient experience would be an advantage, however candidates who demonstrate a genuine interest will be considered and training will be provided.
