Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the TACC Care Group as an Assistant Service Manager. Working on a full time basis across sites in Hull as part of the Humber Health Partnership.

Reporting to the Senior Service Manager and wider operational team, this post will support the management team in delivering general operational management and business support to a number of services.

The post holder will also have delegated responsibility for the management of identified personnel, resources and projects, and will ensure that those resources are managed efficiently and effectively. The postholder will be in charge of managing and maintaining Theatre Systems to ensure optimum performance in order to support organisational objectives. The primary focus of the Assistant Service Manager will be on Theatre Systems management, improvement, data analytics and presenting of multiple data sources as well as cancelled on the day tracking and trending.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work closely with senior clinicians, effectively manage performance against a range of standards and support the management team in generating clear strategic plans for their services.

Main duties of the job

The role of Assistant Service Manager is a practical one and the post holder will work as part of the management team responsible for the care group. The post holder will report to the Senior Service Manager.
