Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Lounge as a Registered nurse. The hours of working are currently 7am to 9pm, 7 days per week. Please be aware the lounge is currently open on a 24/7 basis, this is a temporary solution at present, we are recruiting to fit the agreed opening hours of the lounge. Shift patterns consist of 7am-7pm and 930am to 9pm.
The Patient lounge will be managed under the Site Management team.

Main duties of the job
The patient lounge will be staffed with 2 trained nurse and 2 untrained member of staff. The patient lounge is pivotal when ensuring early flow out of wards to allow for safety in our emergency and assessment units.
You will be a registered nurse, who can demonstrate clinical experience with, you will have the ability to work as the nurse in charge of the lounge and be able to supervise untrained and new staff members.
The post holder will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills.
