Job summary
Are you looking to work in a busy and developing environment within theatres at CHH? We are looking to recruit staff within the Robotic Theatres, who can demonstrate a dynamic approach to their work and who have commitment, drive and enthusiasm to help in the development of our services.
We work within a variety of specialities at Castle Hill including Neurosurgery, Plastic surgery, Orthopaedics, General surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Cardiothoracic and Robotic Surgery. The successful applicant will work together closely with theatres/ward staff.
You will need to be prepared to work within a busy environment and be forward thinking and passionate about delivering a high standard of care.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential. You must have a clear idea regarding your career development and be a team player with a flexible attitude to meet the service needs.
The post requires 24 hour call and weekend working with various shift patterns within theatres to meet the needs of the service, including Bank Holidays
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for supporting the registered peri-operative practitioner in the delivery of direct patient care procedures and transfer, mainly within Robotic Theatres.
The post holder will work flexibly along side team members to meet the needs of the service.
Communication and Relationship SkillsSupports patients , through communicatinginformation using a variety of methods, to ensure effective understanding and reporting the outcome to the registered practitionerin charge.
Contributes to the effective communication between members of themulti disciplinary team, taking personal responsibility to update andshare information provides support for patients at all times by communicating effectivelyin order to meet their needs.
Knowledge, Training and ExperienceUses knowledge and experience to deliver routine tasks as agreed withthe peri-operative practitioner. Uses knowledge and experience to follow agreed policy and procedure
