Job summary
We are looking for 2 experienced project managers who are enthusiastic and motivated to deliver digital projects in preparation for, and as part of, the delivery of a groupwide EPR. We are looking for people who can hit the ground running, and deliver digital projects to a high standard. NHS experience is preferred, but not essential for the right candidates.
Working within the PMO, engaging with suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels, the post holders will be supporting the delivery of the Trusts' objectives and Digital Strategy.
The post will be based at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, and where needed, across any of Humber Health Partnership's sites including Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Goole and associated community teams. We offer hybrid working with part of the week working onsite and the rest working from home, subject to the demands of the project.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include, but are not limited to
Communication
Communicating effectively with the project team and stakeholders to keep them engaged, informed, tailoring messages to suit different audiences. and ensuring clear agreement on tasks and delivery timescales.
Understanding stakeholder needs, managing expectations and working with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables and scope.
Supporting and directing the project team.
Management
Managing, monitoring and delivering clinical and non-clinical projects, following Trust governance processes, to deliver on time, to agreed cost, scope and quality, and ensuring the delivery of defined benefits.
Collaborating with IT co-workers to agree and deliver the technical requirements effectively.
Ensuring compliance with Information Governance, and with the Trust's Cyber Security requirements as well as working with the Clinical Safety Officer to ensure clinical safety.
Managing and controlling any requests to change agreed scope.
Adapting to change in the project environment, leading and engaging the team to deliver at all times.
Maintaining attention to detail.
Reporting
Producing accurate project reports, detailed plans, documenting and managing issues and risks, escalating as needed, and keeping the project board and PMO fully updated.
