Job summary
The Department of Paediatric Surgery provides a secondary and tertiary surgical service to the local and wider population. There are approximately 6000 birth per annum with the neonatal service (including surgery). A full range of sub speciality paediatric surgery and urology is performed except neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, hepatobiliary and oncology.
At Hull Royal Infirmary the facilities enable the service to provide In patient work, out-patient clinics, surgical theatres and Children's Emergency Department. Neonatal surgery is also performed on the Hull Royal Infirmary site
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for Trust Doctor within Paediatric Surgery - Registrar Doctor ST3-7 level.This post is suitable for surgeons who have completed their Core Surgical Training and are looking for experience in Paediatric Surgery. Applicants must be fully registered practitioners who have completed basic surgical training.
