Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated band 5 nurse to join our friendly team.
Ward 39 is a specialist Cardiology Ward which consists of 20 beds. We predominantly take care of Heart Failure patients, however take any cardiology patients who do not require invasive cardiology intervention.
Candidates must be enthusiastic & self motivated, and be committed to delivering high quality, patient centered care. No previous experience of working in Cardiology is required, we just need your passion to care for our patients.

Main duties of the job
The post is for a qualified nurse who wants to further their experience and skills in nursing.The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation of patient care needs. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate good clinical skills and prioritise care associated with changing demands. You will also be expected to be a good role model and support staff and students.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of care to patients within ward 39. As a registered nurse, the post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care during their span of duty. They will work collaboratively with the ward environment and multi disciplinary team to meet the needs of our patients, following the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust policies and procedures while providing supervision to more junior staff.
