Job summary
We have an exciting 2 year Fixed Term opportunity arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Clinical Administration Service (CAS) Hub 9B as a Study Support Worker within our Respiratory Chest Team. supporting a newly commissioned Lung Health Check Study.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels and is able to organise and prioritise their workload alongside others.
Please note, the successful candidate will be required to travel as part of the role so must have access to your own vehicle, along with appropriate insurance. Travel expenses for the purpose of work will be reimbursed.
Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public as well as our clinical teams. You must have a passion to work in a health care setting, a 'can do' attitude and more importantly have a flexible approach to working.
This role is a 2 year fixed term contract and will be 37.5 hours per week. Whilst the core hours of the role will be Mondays to Friday, 8:30 - 1700 with 1 hour unpaid lunch, the candidate will need to be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our patients.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would notbe able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As a Senior Administrator you will be many aspects of the patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
This is a newly created role to support a new Lung Health Check Study and you must be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and have a flexible attitude to work and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
Duties may include typing clinical correspondence, tracking patients through their treatment pathway and also delivering and travelling to patients homes to collect exhaled air measurements.
