Job summary
Applications are invited for Trust Doctors at ST3 level and above to work in Acute Medicine at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The posts will be available for 12 months initially with a view to extend and/or rotate through different medical specialities based on mutual agreement and availability. The specialities currently available are detailed in the attached Job Description. Successful applicants will also provide out of hours cover to the General Medicine rota covering all Medical Specialities at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Applicants must hold full GMC registration and should have also achieved MRCP qualifications (MRCP Part 1 essential). UK experience is essential. Applicants should also possess the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, have good interpersonal skills, have a caring attitude to patients, have good communication skills to allow communication within different groups and must also have a commitment to continuing their medical education
Main duties of the job
The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of acute services from 2 hospital sites serving a local population of 600,000.
Trust Doctor - Education Package
As a Trust Doctor working with Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, you will be entitled to receive the following:
- A named Educational Supervisor
- 10 Study Days Leave per annum
- £500 of Study Leave Allowance per annum
- An assigned Appraiser and access to Multi-Source Feedback 360 (if required) and an Appraisal System
