Job summary
The post holder will coordinate all areas in Emergency Department and work as part of the clinical team to ensuring and maintaining a clean, tidy, safe, well-stocked and comfortable and ensure the stock is maintained at adequate levels in both areas.
To work closely with the Matron and Ward manager in ensuring the eleven service standards as set out in the NHS Plan are met.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
- To oversee domestic duties
- Assist in monitoring and assist in maintaining cleaning standards on the ward and report to the Ward Manager and Modern Matron on the level of cleanliness in the area
- Working with the ward team to be responsible for the management of the wards defect call log book, ensuring all defects are logged, reported, recorded and closed down as appropriate
