Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Clinical Administration Service (CAS) within Hub 1B as part of our secretarial/waiting list team as a Senior Administrator.
This vacancy is based at Castle Hill Hospital within both the Breast Surgery and Dermatology Departments. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibly and is able to organise and prioritise their workload along with that of their team as these roles may involve some line management responsibility (previous staff management would be desirable but not essential). Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public. We are looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting, those with a 'can do' attitude and importantly due to the nature of the work people who have a flexible approach to working.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will join two friendly and supportive teams within the Breast Surgery Unit and the Dermatology Department that values the contribution of all staff.

The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As a Senior Administrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
With a specific focus on working with our secretarial/inpatient waiting list teams in the management of our patients through their patient pathways, you must be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and have a flexible attitude to work and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
Other duties may include typing clinical correspondence and tracking patients through their treatment pathway.
Hours of the post are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 08:30am to 5:15pm with 1 hour unpaid break.
