Job summary

The opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Assisant to join our Cardiac and Thoracic surgical nursing team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the registered nursing team in providing direct high quality patient care. You will work under the supervision of the Senior Sister and in partnership with the registered nursing team.

The hours of work will include 24/7 internal rotation through days and nights.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

Main duties of the job

You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, have a flexible approach to working and previous evidence of effective team working.

Experience of working within a care setting is desirable however we welcome external applicants who have a genuine desire to develop within the NHS to deliver excellent care for patients.
