Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Porter / Clinical Imaging Assistant to join the MRI Department based at Hull Royal Infirmary with rotation to Castle Hill Hospital and other trust sites, with possible Mobile MRI working.

Applications are invited for enthusiastic and motivated person to join the MRI department.

You will be working as a part of a friendly team of dedicated and hardworking Radiographers and support workers within the MRI departments at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust .

Main duties of the job

This role will involve contributing to shift patterns covering the 7 day service (including bank holidays) .

We are looking for a friendly team members who are able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and customer care skills along with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload and work using own initiative. This role includes a large amount of portering responsibilities alongside patient care, communication safety and IT .

Applicants must have a good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent. There are plenty of opportunities within the role to grow.

Previous employment in a similar environment/NHS/care setting would be desirable. Experience of dealing with the general public is essential along with good communication skills, ability to work as an effective team member and good organisational and keyboard skills. There is a need for the successful candidate to be able to multi-task.
