Tobacco Dependency Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate individual to join the Trust's Tobacco Dependency Treatment team.

The post holder will form part of the tobacco dependency treatment team for the Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

The team will deliver treatment for tobacco dependency as part of the Trust's commitment to the NHS Long-Term Plan for tobacco.

The role will be based within the hospital and will deliver tobacco dependency treatment advice and support for all patients identified as being a smoker whilst in hospital.

Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role

Main duties of the job

The post holder will form part of the newly established tobacco dependency treatment team for the Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

The team will deliver treatment for tobacco dependency as part of the Trust's commitment to the NHS Long-Term Plan for tobacco.

The role will be based within the hospital and associated community maternity clinics and will initially focus on inpatients and maternity, with the opportunity to expand the service to other areas once established.

Care following discharge will be provided alongside that provided on the wards and through the midwifery service.
