Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) comprise a highly ambitious, newly formed NHS Group, the 11th largest acute provider in the NHS. With an NHS budget of over £1.3 billion, HUTH & NLaG are united by the purpose to ensure better care is provided to a population of over 1.5 million people. To ensure progressive and effective collaboration across the two Trusts, a Group Chair and Group Chief Executive have recently been appointed, enabling an effective transition into a Group Operating Model, with a single harmonised Executive Team and leadership structure. Our development as a Group relies on our ability to successfully shape, develop and deliver our transformation and project management capacity and capability so that we can implement an effective Transformation Programme, one that engages with clinical and operational teams.
Consequently we have an exciting role that will suit an ambitious, energetic, high calibre leader. You will have responsibility for shaping our transformation agenda with a relentless focus on delivering seamless patient care, enhancing operational performance, and ensuring transformational planning is aligned to our business cycle and our Group objectives.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to, and working closely with, the Group Clinical Design Officer, you will provide professional project management expertise that allows our transformation to be achieved alongside day-to-day operational delivery. You will lead the engagement with staff, bringing support and constructive challenge to SROs and other leaders so that the Groups strategic direction is built upon sustainable foundations.
An experienced NHS programme and project manager, and an accomplished senior leader, you will bring vitality, a focus on continuous improvement, and an ability to work around barriers. With responsibility for a wide range of projects, you will provide assurance to the board and compassionate leadership to your dispersed team.
