Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Junior Clinical Fellow at FY2/ST1 level to join the Departments of Immunology and Haematology at the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust commencing in October 2023 for initial contract of 6 months.
The post will be based at the Castle Hill Hospital.
MBChB or equivalent qualification with full GMC Registration and License to practice is essential by the date of application.
This post does not award National Training Number and the duties will be equivalent to FY2/ST1 level doctor.
The job plan will incorporate sessions to support outpatient Immunology and Allergy and both inpatient and outpatient Haematology services. There will be ample opportunities for the successful candidate to use or develop specific interests in clinical or laboratory medicine, clinical education and research.
Main duties of the job
Provide clinical input to the assessment and management of patients with immunological, allergic and haematological disorders.
Work with other members of the clinical team and actively participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
Liaise and communicate effectively with members of the team, other teams and services within the trust and relevant external agencies including general practitioners.
Maintain appropriate clinical records and undertake necessary clinical correspondence and administration.
Undertake mandatory Trust trainings and be involved in departmental audits.
