Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position as Deputy Business Support Manager working on a job-share basis with the current post holder, supporting the Specialist Surgery Division within the Family and Women's Health Group on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2024.
This position will be a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring business support manager who is motivated, forward-thinking and dynamic and will join the existing management team.
Main duties of the job
Predominantly acting in a deputy capacity to the Business Support Managers within the division, you will be working under the guidance of the Business Manager, Divisional General Manager and Senior Matron. You will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of tasks to assist with the provision of great patient centered care. Your operational management and leadership skills will be developed in this role.
You will be supporting the delivery of performance related work centered on Referral to Treatment compliance and access to elective surgical services therefore an understanding of clinical delivery of care would be an advantage but not essential. You will have the ability to form effective working relationships and must be a strong team player.
To succeed you must have demonstrable experience of working in a senior administrative capacity with leadership or supervisory experience. You should have the ability to cope with a large and varied workload. No two days will be the same in this interesting role, whilst working under pressure and meeting deadlines; therefore a confident, assertive but yet approachable style is essential.
