Job summary

Ward 100 is a Gastroenterology ward and has 27 beds. We are looking for a junior sister / charge nurse to work in partnership with the ward manager to lead and develop the team. The post holder will be a motivated and a committed role model. Ideally the post holder will require some knowledge within the gastroenterology field and an idea of how the service is run.

Main duties of the job

By working clinically as a member of the nursing team you will work in partnership with the Ward Sister/ Charge Nurse to provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership for a ward based team of qualified and non qualified staff.

The post holder will be required to deputise in the absence of the Ward Sister and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care.
