Band 6 HASU Co-ordinator
Ward 110 is a 24 bedded Acute Stroke Unit which includes an 8 bedded Hyper Acute Stroke unit based in Hull Royal Infirmary.
The successful applicant will be in charge of coordinating HASU and the ward and also supporting staff in becoming HASU competent by working through the training provided.

There is an opportunity for an experienced band 5 nurse to join the senior team on ward 110 as a HASU Co-ordinator.
Stroke/medicine experience is not necessary but it is essential that you are a safe practitioner with transferrable skills to be able to co-ordinate a ward, maintain and educate staff to deliver a high standard of quality care. Your role will be to support the Ward Sister and work with the team to improve fundamental standards, reduce falls, improve communication and ensure all patients have a positive journey.
The successful applicant should have excellent communication skills, experience in leadership and be able to manage complex and acutely unwell Stroke patients requiring level two care.
