Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Weekend Housekeeper to join our Tertiary level 3 Neonatal Unit at Hull & East Yorkshire Women's & Children's Hospital.

The post holder will work as an essential part of the Neonatal Services team coordinating all Hotel Services on the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care. Working as part of the team to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained.

The post holder will ensure that the tidiness, cleanliness and general appearance of the unit is conducive with patient care. Patient's privacy and dignity must be respected at all times

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Housekeeper to join our team in the speciality of neonatal care. The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting the delivery high quality safe and efficient care to sick and preterm newborn babies.

The post holder will ensure that the tidiness, cleanliness and general appearance of the unit is conducive with patient care. Patient's privacy and dignity must be respected at all times

About us

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
