Job summary
An exciting position now exists to join our busy, vibrant ward 70 general medical department. We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and caring registered nurse to become part of our team.
Ward 70 has 25 inpatient beds and covers a wide variety of clinical specialties involving patients with acute and long term conditions.
You will be supported by a fantastic team of nurses with many learning opportunities that would allow you to build on and improve your professional clinical skills to help deliver the highest standards of patient care.

Main duties of the job
Some of the registered nursing duties as described from admission to discharge to include mainly care planning and assessing patients needs/changes, administration of medication , monitoring physiological observations and when to escalate using NEWS, skin assessments and wound care/ dressings.
A good level of communication is required for liaising with the medical team and working closely with other members of the MDT such as physiotherapists, OT, specialist nurses in diabetes , palliative care , mental health etc
