Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health services for adults and young people across Sussex. This post will be based at Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath working with our Mental Health Liaison Team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and well organised Team Secretary to support our Consultant Psychiatrists and associated medical team. You will be required to work to a very high standard of accuracy, have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the work of the Consultants. Working with our friendly and understanding staff you will have a pivotal role in supporting our Mental Health Liaison Team.

This is a very busy department and the post holder should, therefore have the ability to work under pressure. You should have experience and a proven background in all aspects of secretarial/office work ideally within a medical / hospital setting however this is not absolutely necessary. It would be advantageous if you have Medical Secretary experience with RSA or equivalent experience plus working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
