Job summary

Within theBrighton and Hove Wellbeing Service, an excitingposition has arisen for a Band7 Triage Co-ordinatorto join ourleadershipteamfor fixed term or secondment period of 12 months from August 2026.

You willbe responsible forthetriagepathway of the Adult Talking Therapies Service and thePrimary Care & Partnerships Team.You will work alongside clinicians and administrativecolleaguesin theserviceand willdemonstrateexcellent communication skills, understanding and kindness tocolleagues and topeople who will, very often be having their first contact with our services.

The Triage Co-Ordinatorworksclosely with partners across the healthcare system and will be an active participant inongoingcommunity transformation,redesigning the way people can access mental health support across the city. As such, the abilityand motivationto build andmaintainstrong reciprocal relationships is essential.

Please note, although we encourage positive work-life balance, weare not able tooffer remote-working-only contracts for this role.

Part time (minimum 30 hours) and flexible working patterns will be considered, however due to the demands of the role it is essential for the successful applicant to be able to work in some capacity across at least 4 days (Mon-Fri).

Main duties of the job

You should have recent experience of working inor alongsideaTalking Therapies Service.You will showthe ability to prioritise your workindependently andallocate/oversee workloads of triagecliniciansas necessary.The role will require you have professional experience of, or a skillset inoperational and performance measuring skills, e.g. auditing,forecasting, and regular complex use of the MicrosoftOfficeSuite amongst other software programmes.

Youcontribute to effective multi-disciplinary working within the community mental health systemand build up effective liaison with community, primary, and other secondary and tertiary services/agencies within the locality to provide holistic care based on the individual's need and service development.
