Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join our Reception Team based at East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small reception team. You will need to present a professional and courteous manner to all patients, staff and visitors entering and exiting the Centre.
This role is varied and, at times, very busy, providing reception support to the multi-disciplinary teams based within the Centre. You will also be reporting to and assisting the Buildings Manager with various tasks.
Main duties of the job
Ensure the security of the centre is maintained via appropriate staff identity checks, provision and monitoring of visitor passes/activation & deactivation of ID badges as required.
Working with complex multiple room bookings for the centre and liaising with Buildings Manager as necessary.
Relaying room booking information to staff accordingly.
Act as Fire Warden as and when called upon.
Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls to the centre, relaying messages accurately and promptly.
Take part in regular supervision, training and update meetings as defined by the line manager.
Participate in any key admin tasks as required.
Handle incoming and outgoing post.
Receive, sign for and direct incoming deliveries as required.
Oversee prescription log and collections via appropriate checks.
Unlock and secure the building and ground floor rooms each full working day.
Oversee multiple appt room booking systems.
Use of confidential client information systems.
Reimbursement of client travel fares where necessary.
Carry out any other appropriately identified tasks as required by your Line Manager.
Ensure Trust mandatory training is kept up to date.
Take part in a Trust induction prior to starting in post.
