Job summary
We are recruiting for a Band 5 IT Telephony Engineer role. This role will be based across Sussex covering various sites throughout the area, . Main responsibilities would include but not limited to resolving software and hardware issues and configuring of new and existing mobile phones, supporting the Networks Team and assisting with Trust projects as required.
The Trust is embarking on a move to cloud provisioned services including Azure, M365 and Ring Central.
Experience with Android and Apple Mobiles devices would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
You will be required to travel to various sites across the trust so access to your own transport is essential
Main duties of the job
To provide 2nd /3rd line Technical Support facility for all Trust IT users keeping the users and other IT staff fully informed of the progress of calls that they have raised with the Help Desk. Maintaining clear, high quality records on actions undertaken in support of resolving user incidents. Updating the Help Desk application and other IT staff on these actions.

The Connectivity / Telephony team is part of the Trust's Digital team and provides day to day operational support for all Trust wide area and local area services as well as support to the Unified communication platforms.
