Job summary
We are looking for two highly skilled and motivated individuals to lead our Rother & Wealden Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Teamsas a result of our Trust wide Community Transformation Programme.The transformation of community mental health services will bring local services together to work more collaboratively, including mental health, social care, primary care and voluntary services.
Main duties of the job
The Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams are currently being established, which as a minimum, will bring together the existing primary care and VCSE service for mental health (Emotional Wellbeing Service), specialist community based mental health services (Assessment and Treatment Service and Specialist Older Adults Mental Health Services), and Access Facilitators, to create a new multidisciplinary service. Which makes this a very unique opportunity for someone to be an integral part of this change and the future development of the service.
About us
These teams will have strong connections with local voluntary, community and social enterprise services, local authority, social care and other specialist services, such as Early Intervention in Psychosis Services, Perinatal Mental Health Services, and Specialist Older Adults Mental Health Services, which will provide improved and more joined up care for people accessing services.

- Educated to degree/ diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Clinical/post graduate management qualification or equivalent level of leadership experience and proven ability to perform at this level
Knowledge/Experience
Essential
- experience of and demonstrable achievement in managing/leading health/social care services.
- Management of resources and good track record with change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans
- Experience of modernising services without additional resources
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders in the redesign of services
- Experience of project management and imaginative planning.
- Experience of managing/leading a diverse practitioner team
- Measurable track record in involving and motivating staff to improve performance
