Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner - half-time, 1yr fixed term (maternity cover)
We have a great opportunity for a registered Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Assessment and Treatment service at Millwood in Uckfield which is in a beautiful rural location close to Ashdown Forest i East Sussex.
We offer specialist community treatment to service users with severe mental health needs and we are fully integrated with our primary care and voluntary sector partner agencies.
You would be part of a lively and supportive multi-disciplinary team and work under the direct supervision of our 8a CBT therapist and the psychological therapies team.
Main duties of the job
Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners work alongside service users, families, carers and the multi-disciplinary team members to co-ordinate care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment and deliveringa set of wellbeing-focused psychologically-informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, and based on best evidence.
