Job summary
The Admin Team Lead is a key member of the Medical Education Department and is responsible for the day to day operational running of the Postgraduate Administrative team and service. Responsible for ensuring systems and processes are in place to meet local, regional, national targets and directives applicable to Postgraduate Medical Education for Doctors in Training and Undergraduate students.
The post holder will provide business support in the development of the service, undertaking project work to support on-going development, facilitating the change process whilst encouraging others to be innovative and adaptable in their approach to change.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for both the local administrative leadership and line management of our B4 and B3 administrative staff who provide a service to junior doctors and undergraduate medical students.
The Post holder will also lead the administration and organisation of Junior Doctor Inductions, with support from Medical Education Administrators.
The post holder will be required to work across sites and in conjunction with members of the team to deliver agreed programmes and work streams, as well as attend appropriate national meetings.
