Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust delivers the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Hampshire. Hampshire CAMHS currently have a vacancy for a band 8a team manager overseeing the Early Help provision in the south of the county. The teams working within the area cover Basingstoke and Aldershot.

Under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment Regulations) (TUPE) all substantive Hampshire CAMHS staff who are employed by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) will transfer to either Southern Health Foundation Trust, or to Surrey and Borders Foundation Trust. The TUPE transfer from Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust effective from 1st February 2024.

Main duties of the job
This is a new role being created to oversee our newly developing CYP Primary Care Wellbeing Service which is placing Children Wellbeing Practitioners in to Primary Care settings and a new Specialist Special School MHST which will be starting in January 2025. These two new areas of service provision are really exciting developments for us within CAMHS and there is much potential for these service to grow and evolve for greater coverage and access for our children and young people in an innovative and forward thinking environment.
A key aspect of this role will be working with a range of internal and external stakeholder to develop newly emerging service models within CAMHS.
The role would suit someone that thrives in a context of collaborative working and developing new projects and services. Working in this collaborative way to develop and grow a shared vision around these areas.
