Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within East Sussex Rehabilitation Pathway for a Specialty Doctor with a passion for recovery focused and innovative service delivery. You will join an expanding and developing service that is enjoying an injection of investment to develop services and which places enormous emphasis on the key role of rehabilitation for service users experiencing severe and enduring mental illness. You will be supported with training and development and, if eligible, to pursue a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).

Main duties of the job
As a Specialty Doctor in the Rehabilitation Service, you will be working alongside a highly specialist, motivated multi-disciplinary team consisting of two Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologist, Senior Nurse's, Support Workers, and Occupational Therapist.
You will support Amberstone Rehabilitation Service,Hastings, and Eastbourne community hubs as part of the East Sussex Rehabilitation Pathway.
You will be based in a friendly team environmentand have access to dedicated admin support from an established administration team.
On appointment you will have the opportunity to join the Trust wide Specialty Doctor network as well as having access to peer support from colleagues here in East Sussex.

The dual-practice nature of the Amberstone Rehabilitation Service Specialty Doctor post provides an excellent opportunity to develop the CESR portfolio, therefore, eligible doctors may apply for a CESR Fellowship role while working in this service. CESR fellowship supports include:
- SPAs to develop portfolios
- Dedicated clinical and educational supervision
- Regular review of CESR portfolio by a CESR panel.
- Active peer group of fellows and clinicians on route to CESR
- Bespoke learning plan and scheme designed with clinical experience and supervision in all key areas and components of expected competencies
