Ongoing employment and band progression will be dependent on successful completion of the university course and availability of qualified vacancies.
As well as taking part in a dedicated training programme at the University of Reading, the remainder of your week will be spent working in our committed and innovative CAMH service. By the end of your training, you'll have the skills, as well as the confidence, to provide a range of cognitive behavioural informed interventions to help young people improve their well-being and overcome their common mental health problems.
On a day-to-day basis, this will include accepting referrals via agreed protocols and supporting those in the self-management of their recovery. You will also provide telephone/online-based assessments and treatments, conduct group workshops and face to face assessments, support parents and young people through guided self-help and contribute to the wider delivery of our services in the community.
