Job summary
Are you ready for a new opportunity? We have an exciting Lead Practitioner opportunity within our Community Assessment and Treatment Service, based at the East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, Brighton General Hospital.
We are a large Multi-Disciplinary Team looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers with experience of working with people with complex mental health conditions in a relevant setting.
This post offers an incentive or relocation package up to the maximum of £4000 (pro rata applies and subject to terms and conditions).
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team within the wider Assessment and Treatment Service. Our teams are made up of Consultant Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Support Workers, Employment Specialists, and Administrators.
You will have a varied, fast paced and crucial role in supporting patient journey. The role is highly rewarding, but can at times be challenging with competing demands.
You will have access to monthly high-quality supervision from a clinical lead, as well as continuous frequent support on offer through multi-disciplinary meetings and other forums. You will also have access to, and be encouraged to attend internal/external training opportunities to further develop your skills and experience in a community mental health setting.
We welcome applications from practitioners who are highly motivated and enthusiastic about providing high quality patient care in a community setting, as well as being flexible and creative in your working style with a passion for working with people to support individual recovery goals and to work collaboratively with the service user themselves, their carers, colleagues within the third sector, GPs, and the wider mental health service within the Trust.
