Are you looking for an exciting opportunity working in the field of Neurodevelopmental Conditions including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), ADHD and Tics and Tourette's syndrome?
The Neurodevelopmental Service (NDS) is looking for a full time Team Secretary for maternity cover. As Team Secretary, you should have strong organisational and communication skills and be able to work closely and collaboratively with clinicians and managers and strive for high quality standards both personally and for the service. You will be responsible for sending out routine correspondence to patients, managing queries, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with tasks being undertaken by the Neurodevelopmental admin team.
Main duties of the job
Successful candidates will have an NVQ 3/RSA 3 qualification or demonstrable experience within this field and have a genuine interest in developing a career within mental health services.
About us
The NDS is a specialist clinical diagnostic assessment and consultation service for adults living in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex with a suspected diagnosis of ASC, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome and Tic disorder. The service is delivered by Senior Nurse Practitioners and also has a weekly multidisciplinary clinic comprising of Consultant Psychiatrist, Neuropsychiatrist, Consultant Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist. ADHD and ASC post-diagnostic group work is available for patients resident in Brighton and Hove.
