We're excited to announce an opportunity for two dynamic & experienced Managing Directors to join our Trust. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer you will be a key contributor to the leadership and strategic direction of the Trust, delivering our organisational priorities.
We're looking for an experienced operational manager with a commitment to developing place-based care and enhancing system working. The role would suit someone who enjoys managing change, improving systems, processes, and productivity, to ensure the ongoing and ever-improving delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main duties of the job
As one of four divisional Managing Directors within Sussex Partnership, you will have joint responsibility for driving forward corporate and collaborative programmes of work and service direction, while providing compassionate and inspiring leadership.
You will be responsible for:
- The effective implementation of national and local strategies
- The achievement of Trust and Divisional objectives within the available resources
- The development and implementation of a long-term strategic plan for the division, including the delivery of high-quality patient care, clinical governance, patient safety, clinical quality, and the delivery of financial targets.
- The delivery of the best possible patient outcomes for the local population served within the resources available.
You will work as part of a triumvirate leadership team with the Divisional Clinical Director and Divisional Director of Nursing and Quality, taking a joint operational,clinical, and quality approach to all aspects of service delivery and Divisional leadership.
There is a recognition that clinical and strategic leadership needs to cross the Divisional structures to ensure that there is pathway standardisation, consistency of clinical standards, practices and outcomes. As Managing Director, you will work with other Divisions and corporate leadership to achieve this.
