Job summary
The Pennine Network is looking for a receptionist to join our Inpatient Services on a part-time, permanent basis. You will have excellent customer service and administrative skills to support the smooth and efficient functioning of the services.

We are inviting applications from individuals with excellent organisation skills and the ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with staff, servicer users, visitors and carers in a professional manner. The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft office packages and possess a good telephone manner.

The post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality clinical administrative and customer service.
The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. The post holder will need to be a team player with strong communication skills.
o Be the first point of contact for the department.
o Answer telephones, taking and forwarding messages, ensuring that all telephone and personal callers receive a prompt, courteous, non-judgmental and well-informed response.
o Respond to queries, dealing with routine matters and passing more complex queries to the appropriate member of staff.
o Receive, allocate and dispatch departmental mail (internal and external).
o Attend and participate in team meetings and administrative service meetings as required as part of the smooth running of the service.
o Demonstrate the role to new or less experienced staff.
