Join our supportive and dynamic Community Mental Health Team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, where we strive to deliver high quality care, in the right place, at the right time, every time.

As a Band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse, you will:

Act as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team

Manage your own caseload with supervision from senior staff

Conduct specialist assessments and develop care plans under the Care Programme Approach

Administer depot medication (for registered nurses)

Liaise with multi-agency professionals and participate in duty team assessments

Support service users with severe and enduring mental illness, including crisis planning and risk management

Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification

Commitment to continuing professional development

Strong interpersonal and clinical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role
